How Journey Rewards Works
Refer. Journey. Earn. Travel again. Journey Rewards gives members a simple way to earn Travel Credit through referrals, while welcoming referred new members with a separate one-time Welcome Credit.

Share your referral
Every Journey Rewards member receives a Referral ID. Active members may share their referral code or link even while their Verification is still under review.

Your referral connection is recorded
Sharing your referral starts the connection, but signup, booking, or payment alone does not earn Travel Credit.

Their journey is completed
Each eligible referred traveler is evaluated separately after completing their TNJ journey.

Travel Credit is earned
Once the referring member has met the required verification requirements and the referred traveler has completed the journey, the applicable Travel Credit is added to the member's balance.

₱50 Travel Credit
Repeat traveler
Earned when an eligible referred repeat traveler completes their TNJ journey and the referring member has met the required verification requirements.
Important
Sharing a referral, creating an account, booking a journey, or making a payment does not by itself earn Travel Credit. The referred traveler must complete the journey before the reward can be earned. Cancelled or no-show referral journeys do not earn Travel Credit. If a referred traveler reschedules, their referral remains under evaluation until the journey is completed.
WELCOME CREDIT
A little welcome for referred new members.
Welcome Credit is a separate ₱50 one-time benefit for someone who becomes a Journey Rewards member through a valid referral from an existing member.
A valid referral must be accepted during the member’s first successful Journey Rewards signup. Joining without a valid referral still creates a normal Journey Rewards membership, but it does not create Welcome Credit eligibility later.
How it is applied
The required downpayment remains ₱300 per traveler.
Welcome Credit does not replace, reduce, or count toward that downpayment.
After the required downpayment is successfully paid and confirmed, the ₱50 Welcome Credit is automatically applied to the member’s remaining balance for their first TNJ journey after becoming a member.
No separate redemption step is needed.
Welcome Credit and Travel Credit are different
Welcome Credit
₱50 one-time referred-enrollment benefit. It is applied automatically when its conditions are met and does not become part of the member’s Travel Credit Wallet.
Travel Credit
Value earned by an eligible referring member after an eligible referred traveler completes their TNJ journey. Earned Travel Credit appears in the member’s Travel Credit balance and may later be used toward an eligible TNJ journey.
USING TRAVEL CREDIT
Promotional value for future journeys—not cash.
How much can be used?
The amount of Travel Credit that may be applied to a traveler's booking is limited to the lowest of the member's available Travel Credit balance, ₱1,000, and that traveler's eligible remaining balance.
Your downpayment stays separate
The required ₱300 downpayment per traveler must still be paid. Travel Credit cannot replace or reduce it.
If plans change
If Travel Credit has already been applied and the booking later reaches a financially final cancellation or no-show, the exact eligible amount is restored to the member. If the journey is rescheduled, the member's Travel Credit value is preserved.
Travel Credit is not cash
Travel Credit cannot be withdrawn, sold, or transferred to another member.
